FitsApp, a startup based out of Hyderabad aims to provide solutions for fitness enthusiasts who have been regularly hitting the gyms in order to stay fit and healthy. Their purpose has been mainly to connect fitness enthusiasts with trainers, with trainers being able to offer assistance to them at the time of performing workouts and exercises.

The only major reason for getting motivated to visit gyms in the past had been to either lose or gain weight among individuals. The arrival of coronavirus pandemic COVID-19 had brought all activities and physical movements to a grinding halt. Before COVID-19 had struck many parts of the world, individuals with disposable incomes had always been able to hire a personal trainer to guide them in their fitness routines. For the rest of the individuals, they had been left with the option of checking out videos on the internet in order to gain from their fitness routine such as YouTube videos.

With gyms and fitness centers losing business quickly, the only option left with fitness enthusiasts had been to practice home workouts, as social distancing had forced individuals to stay out of physical contact with each other. Many of them had even shifted online by joining Skype, Zoom and others. However, those who haven’t been tech-savvy had to quit since they were not left with any other option. Some of them had been able to access workout videos from YouTube. As the country is slowly witnessing a return to normalcy, FitsApp is expected to be one such platform that would play an important role in getting people back to their fitness regimes.

The presence of FitsApp would help individuals to have a one-on-one conversation with fitness trainers of their choice, especially with a dedicated set of fitness trainers having been employed by FitsApp. Moreover, they would also be able to receive personal attention. The schedule can be decided and booked according to the requirements of the user. Fitness Trainers are also available for both online and offline sessions.

Personal Trainers from FitsApp are now available for access to individuals across the country. The sessions are kept at affordable rates that start at Rs. 59/- for every session. This is expected to help a vast segment of the population with access to fitness training, as it is affordable. FitsApp has also initiated a project on a trial basis at Hyderabad. Individuals would be able to book an in-person session that will engage a fitness trainer whose charges are only Rs. 299/- for every session. It is also working to expand their network of personal fitness trainers throughout the country.

Currently, FitsApp is having a network of 2000+ gyms under its belt. It has employed 500+ fitness trainers covering pan-India. About 200+ trainers are present in Hyderabad.

The post-COVID world is certainly desperate to see such initiatives from the business world, especially with the necessity for individuals to stay focused on taking care of their health and well-being, in order to protect themselves from any lifestyle-threatening diseases or any other diseases.
