One of the Boutique cardio fitness and wellness brand AKT has come out with its recent announcement about its completion of signing over 100 franchise agreements. The Coronavirus pandemic that had struck a few months earlier has not stopped the fitness franchise from inking multiple deals. In addition to that, it has been able to open seven new locations across different markets all over the country.

At least 15 studios are currently operational and it is expected that the currently concluded deals would help bring new studios similar to that of Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Los Angeles, including Northern Virginia, that would lead to quadrupling of the brand’s current footprint. Xponential Fitness is responsible for building and curating AKT, besides being a curator of eight boutique fitness brands as of date. The headquarters of AKT is based in Irvine, California.

Melissa Chordock, currently serving as the President of AKT stated that she believed that AKT has been able to maintain a steady growth, especially during the period of Coronavirus pandemic that has presented several economic challenges. Moreover, she further stated that for many people, fitness was more than just an hour of their day and that it was a lifestyle. Further, she expressed confidence that AKT would be a favoured place for people to go to, as it would help them grow stronger in both bodies and minds, especially with AKT’s programming being tailored to cover all fitness levels, apart from their robust on-demand presence that can complement in-studio workouts and cleaning and safety procedures that are of highest quality at all their locations.

Anna Kaiser, an international fitness expert as well as a celebrity trainer had started AKT in New York City. The workouts at AKT can be applied to all types of bodies and fitness levels and it would have a customized mixture of its four core modalities, namely DANCE, BANDS, TONE and CIRCUIT. Every studio is possessed of a vibrant atmosphere, that is accompanied by mood lighting, disco ball, including premium amenities. The current investment required for opening an AKT Franchise ranges between USD 341,200 – USD 529,900.
