The announcement on the launch of ConnectFit was made by Norman and Jennifer Morrison and this will be closely followed by the opening of a showroom at 84, Needham St. Newton MA 02461 on Saturday, 22nd August 2020. With over four decades of experience in the fitness industry, the Morrisons have been consulting with brands directly in product development. The clients are offered a unique opportunity to discover the most recent arrivals as far as connected fitness products are concerned from its brand new 3700 square feet facility. They are specialists in designing both residential and commercial fitness spaces.

ConnectFITThe offerings of the new ConnectFit showroom contain legacy fitness equipment as well as connected fitness options. Many diverse premium brands such as TRUE, FreeMotion, Spirit, Echelon, Ecore and few others are offered by ConnectFit. It is also the only distributor in the USA for certain brands.

Norm Morrison, ConnectFit’s Co-Founder mentioned that they have helped build the biggest fitness equipment dealership in the industry and later moved over to consulting. He further added that they had advised many premium brands that have helped them in understanding what is new and what would be the next that is coming up.

Another Co-Founder, Jenn Morrison mentioned that when a new company is started, there is difficulty in obtaining manufacturer support. However, Jenn further added that the response of the industry towards ConnectFit had been remarkable and that they were proud of being able to enter into partnerships with a selective collection of reputed and leading brand names.

Tim Porth, Think Product’s Principal mentioned that he has known Norm Morrison since the last 15 years. Tim Porth, being the Co-Founder and EVP of Marketing and Product Development at Octane Fitness during that period when both had worked together stated that, there was a heavy dependence on their retail partners for customer insights. At that time, Norm had been leading the pack. Moreover, he added that Norm had the unique ability to understand the customer and had accordingly applied mechanics and technology to address the needs of the customers.

As far as response to the pandemic is concerned, ConnectFit will be able to meet with the clients in whatever manner that is preferred by them. Clients can undertake a visit to the showroom or connect through a video chat online, apart from scheduling a socially-distant house call. Additionally, clients will be able to find trainers, including health professionals via the ConnectFit community.
