In a thrilling encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Kerala Blasters FC and Chennaiyin FC played out an intense 3-3 draw in the Indian Super League (ISL). The excitement started early with Rahim Ali of Chennaiyin FC scoring the tenth-fastest goal in ISL history, just 54 seconds into the match. The goal came from a well-executed play initiated by Rafael Crivellaro.

The game continued at a frenetic pace, with Dimitrios Diamantakos and Jordan Murray converting penalties in the 11th and 13th minutes, respectively. Ajith Kumar’s foul on Kwame Peprah inside the box led to the first penalty for Kerala Blasters, and Murray successfully pulled his team level. However, Chennaiyin FC quickly regained the lead, with Murray scoring his second goal in the 24th minute after an incisive through ball from Rahim.

Kerala Blasters responded strongly, with Adrian Luna leading the comeback. Luna’s remarkable long-range shot from nearly 30 yards out was deflected by Peprah into the net, bringing the Blasters back into contention. Dimitrios Diamantakos added another goal in the 59th minute, capitalizing on a pass from Danish Farooq, and leveled the score.

Despite the thrilling goals and efforts from both sides, the match ended in a 3-3 draw, with Dimitrios Diamantakos earning the title of ‘Player of the Match.’ The result left both teams with a point each.

Looking ahead, Kerala Blasters FC is set to face FC Goa at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, while Chennaiyin FC will travel to take on Jamshedpur FC on December 7 in their upcoming ISL matches.
