Abbot’s, a wellness company dedicated to crafting plant-rich products using real, whole food ingredients, has made its debut in over 1,300 Publix locations across eight states. This Florida-born supermarket chain will feature Abbot’s plant-rich offerings, including “Chorizo,” Ground “Beef,” and Fajita Chick’n, in its produce department. This expansion provides shoppers in the Southeast with access to clean and wholesome protein options for their favorite recipes.

Abbot’s premium, protein-rich products are distinguished by their commitment to using 100 percent real food ingredients, such as pea protein, mushrooms, and extra virgin olive oil. Importantly, these offerings are free from the top nine allergens, preservatives, natural and artificial flavors, and seed oils. Additionally, the products hold certifications as Non-GMO Project Verified, Whole30 Approved, and Vegan Certified.

The move into Publix stores aligns with the growing consumer emphasis on health and well-being. A significant portion of consumers now scrutinize both nutrition labels and ingredient lists before making purchases. The trend towards health-promoting benefits is evident, with 75% of consumers expressing a willingness to invest more in such products.

Abbot’s strategically caters to flexitarians—individuals who incorporate both animal-based and plant-based alternatives—representing nearly half of the US population. With its clean, wholesome, and nutritionally robust ingredient label, Abbot’s has experienced steady growth in the natural channel over the last 52 weeks, positioning itself as a leader in the plant protein space. The brand is well-positioned to meet the increasing demands of health-conscious and health-curious conventional shoppers.

“Food is information; it can either heal or harm,” statedd Kerry Song, founder and CEO of Abbot’s. “At Abbot’s, we’re deeply committed to crafting plant-powered proteins that not only taste absolutely delicious but give your body what it needs to thrive. Thanks to Publix, we’ll be able to share the transformative power of good, clean food with more and more people.”
