IPL 2022 , with this ending year and coming new year when Indian Premier League auctions are scheduled in End January or First week of February, is creating a bumble buzz. There has been a series of appointments, retention and droppings. Almost all franchises have retained some stalwarts with them while some bigger names are also in auction basket this year.

After approving two new teams, commencing to play from this season taking the fighting brigades to 10 in number, authorities have spilled their hard earned beans. This would increase the competition for the trophy.

IPL 2022

In the same lines there is a round of selections going on for coaches to train new teams. Previously, Gautam Gambhir, former KKR skipper, currently MP from NCR region is being roped to mentor lucknow team in IPL 2022, while the latest news coming up is Vivek Dahiya Former wicketkeeper batter has been elected as assistant coach for the same.

The 48-year-old from Haryana is the current coach of the Uttar Pradesh team. He has earlier worked as an assistant coach of two-time IPL-winning Kolkata Knight Riders.

He has also served as the talent scout for the Delhi Capitals, apart from coaching the Delhi Ranji team.

“I am delighted and grateful for the opportunity given to me to work with the Lucknow IPL franchise,” Dahiya, who has played two Tests and 19 ODIs for India, said in a statement.

The Lucknow team, which is part of the RPSG Group, had earlier appointed Andy Floweras head coach. 

The IPL 2022 game is getting fierce from this season onwards when ten teams will contest for mettle to lift the trophy.
