Cristiano Ronaldo pays a tribute to the outgoing coach, former teammate and coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he was sacked from the top job, after a disapppointing season in the curent leg.

Solskjaer was dismissed as the first-team manager after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at Watford left the team in seventh place with just one win from their last seven matches.

Michael Carrick, former player and a member from the outgoing coach’s management team will be taking the charge from him,here at villareal in upcoming matches of champions league from Tuesday onwards till the time company’s search for the new coach gets overed. Till then company and team admin are taking meetings and proposed names will be coming soon.

Cristiano Ronaldo. who was a teammate of Solskjaer in 2007 when he was playing his final match for the Manchester United. Ronaldo wished Norwegian striker all the best for his future endeavours.

“I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck, my friend! You deserve it,” Ronaldo posted on his social media accounts.

Sloskjaer, was a showstopper at finals of champions league 1999 where he took on the Bayern Munich in the stoppage time and goaled for victory. He took  on the job of the coach when Jose Murinho was axed three years ago.

Solskjaer, who played for United from 1996-2007 under Ferguson, was handed the manager’s job permanently in 2019 after a promising start at Old Trafford as caretaker, having rediscovered some of the team’s attacking verve and bringing calmness after the toxic end to Mourinho’s tenure.
