Lewis Hamilton, Seven Times formula One champion and a blasting formula One racer received his Knighthood from the Royal majesty for his superb service to the Motorsports game on Wednesday. This Knighthood ceremony held just after a day when Lewis Hamilton lost the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to his arch rival Max Verstappen.
Hamilton lost out on the 2021 title to Red Bull driver Max Verstappen on Sunday. The two were equal on points before the final race in Abu Dhabi, where the Dutchman overtook Hamilton on the final lap to lift his maiden title.
Lewis Hamilton is only 4th Formula one driver who is getting rewarded for his exceptional contribution and only first to receive this honour while still being alive.
After the late Australian Jack Brabham, Stirling Moss and triple champion Jackie Stewart, and the only one to have received the award while still racing.

After losing the game at Abu Dhabi, during last lap to Max Verstappen, there sprung up a huge controversy when safety car interrupted him in last lap and messed his last lap. There is a worldwide raise against that situation but knighthood ceremony came up as a boon in the dark.
Let’s hope for Lewis Hamilton’s Comeback next season.
