Kia Motors, the World’s largest Automaker announced its Australian Open BallKids program in India.
With the entries open for the programme, Kia Motors India has clubbed with the former tennis star Mahesh Bhupati for the selection and training process.
In a bid to grow the sports of Tennis in India, the automaker has taken the initiative of The Australian Open BallKids.
Kia motors have been associated with the iconic Australian open since long which began in 2002. It aims to be instrumental in fostering budding talent in India by offering them with a once in a lifetime opportunity.
After the screening test, Ten shortlisted Indian Ballkids will be given chance to exhibit their talent and sporting spirit of the tennis tournament through a fully sponsored trip by Kia Motors India.

The ballkids will plays an important role in conducting smooth functioning and accomplishment of tennis tournament.
Kia has been following the company’s global philosophy of being an enabler of sports since its entry in India.
India’s first FIFA OMBC (Official Match Ball Carrier) program by Kia Motors encouraged millions of sports enthusiasts. Now, Kia has initiated the Ballkids Australian Open experience to identify young tennis enthusiasts.
Parent or Guardians can log in to the Kia Motors India microsite in order to register their kids online for the audition test.
Evaluating the online entries, Kia Motors India will conduct regional auditions in four major Indian cities viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru and the final selection s will be held at Delhi.
Mentored by Mahesh Bhupathi, 100 shortlisted kids (age group 12-15 years) will be assessed by Australian Open officials to identify the final 10 Kia Ballkids for Australian Open 2019.
