India’s one of the major menswear brands Peter England introduced by Aditya Birla has brought Indian Premier league club Chennai Super Kings on Board to endorse their newly introduced Wedding Collections suits and dressings.
By associating with the IPL’s major south Indian team CSK, The brand is trying to tap the south Indian market just days of forthcoming wedding season in the region. The brand is banking a lot over the Popularity of CSK cricketers to drive sales in the region.
Peter England has launched ad campaign featuring cricketers like MS Dhoni, Shane Watson a, Dwayne Bravo and Murali Vijay in the wedding attire.
The new collection range features suits and blazers priced at Rupees 4999 (approx $70) onwards and will be available across stores in all the major cities.
Commenting on the launch of the collection, Manish Singhai, COO, Peter England said, “We are excited to unveil the wedding suits and blazers collection which offer a rich promise to every Indian man to be his fashionable best this wedding season.
“The wedding campaign featuring CSK stars brings to life the brand’s high voltage fashion quotient. A highly focused marketing campaign is being executed across platforms to reach our consumers,” he added.
Peter England and CSK had earlier partnered this year for the launch of an exclusive range of CSK merchandise which included t-shirts and accessories.
