The struggle against breast cancer is a year-long battle. Crunch Fitness is moving the more mile to help in the battle against this dangerous disease.
Working out is a way of life for those at Crunch Fitness in D’Iberville. Unfortunately, during October, workers and members of this and other Crunch Fitness places moved up their efforts to help raise awareness and funds to fight against breast cancer. Crunch Fitness District Manager Dawn Roberts stated, “We had three different events we organized on at three other Crunch Fitness locations this year at Long Beach, Hattiesburg, and D’Iberville, where we arranged a Crunch, Goes Pink event.
That comprised three different events called Battle for Boobies, Burpies for Boobies, and Boxing for Boobies, and we raised money with our members through those events. Also, we collected contributions through the entire month of October.”
On Thursday, Crunch Fitness offered the American Cancer Society a donation check worth more than $4,000 to help fight against breast cancer, so their hard work paid off. American Cancer Society Community Development Manager LaWanda Jones said, “It paid off, and they were number four in all the teams that were registered. During this time, they appeared together to raise more than $4,000 to fight breast cancer.
