Now the last but not the least, there are a few scientists researching at Australia based the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) who said that they have developed an algorithm that can predict the direction of a shot made by tennis player beforehand. This can be said as a revolutionary development in the history of Tennis which will definitely be very useful for the virtual reality games. The researchers have worked diligently over the collected data using Hawk-Eye data from the 2012 Australian Tennis Open, provided by Tennis Australia. In order to accomplish the research, the researchers have used several shots selections of Djokovic, Nadal and Federer. The research methodology however is still in the lab; it can predict about 1000 shots just in 30 seconds. The algorithm works on the application of Artificial intelligence and is named as Semi Supervised Generative Adversarial Network architecture and is yet to be launched officially.
