The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) roped in multi-year partnership deal with Japanese major marketing agency Dentsu and Synca Creation.
Tokyo Based Dentsu INC. is a marketing agency of the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the forthcoming Olympics and Paralympic games.
Synca Creation Inc. which also gets its headquarter in Tokyo, is a TV Production and Distribution company which has been associated with IFSC as in their media partner in Japan since 2013.
With the immediate effect of the partnership, it will infuse Dentsu and Synca rights to deal with all those coming IFSC marketing and Media deals for IFSC events in the 2019-23 climbing seasons.
Moreover, apart from attracting new sponsor and broadcasters, Dentsu and Synca are working with IFSC altogether to increase the production value of IFSC events.
Producing live coverage for television and Online consumption of around 16 international sport climbing events per year, IFSC also offers live footage delivery. The IFSC also circulates 26-minute of monthly highlights of sport across all five continents.
“This historic agreement opens new heights for our sport, new horizons for our athletes and events, and strengthens our presence in Japan ahead of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. This milestone deal will enable us to consolidate our organisation and invest in key developments to enhance the attractiveness of sport climbing and its strong appeal among youth,” says Marco Scolaris, IFSC president.
