Euro T20 slam will be launched by former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram and Dilip Vengaskar in Dublin on 30 April. The new T20 franchise will feature Scottish team, Irish and Dutch teams. Two promoters of Euro T20 slams are Woods Entertainment and GS Holding. They will also invite sponsors to come on board and buy team franchise for this new cricket league. The tournament will come to end by 22 September of this year. The advisory committee, marquee players, the venues and the local players will also be announced during the launch of this new kind of premier league.
Prashant Mishra from Woods Entertainment said in his official statement, “A big surprise waits the city of Dublin with the official launch of Euro T20 slam. With the support of Cricket Ireland, Scotland and the Dutch Cricket Board, we are hoping to attract millions of fans by launching the league in a big way. We understand there’s a massive talent base in Ireland, Scotland and Netherland and with Euro T-20 Slam, we will create a product never seen before in Europe.”
