According to an announcement from XFL, Walt Disney Company and Fox will be broadcasting the league for its debut season.

XFL is professional football league which is owned by Alpha Entertainment of Vince MacMohan. The company is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. The commissioner of this upstart league is Oliver Luck. The league currently has a total of eight teams.

The first season is set to kick off on Saturday, February 8, 2020 with teams in Dallas, Houston, Los Anglese, New York, St. Louis, Tempa Bay and Washington DC. The football league will be playing during the off-season of NFL.

The games are scheduled to air weekly on ABC and Fox along with other games appearing across ESPN, ESPN2, FS1 and FS2. There will be surely one game each day over the weekend. They are set to start from Saturday afternoon at two pm. The next day there are going to be two additional ones. Disney is the owner of both ESPN and ABC.

Vince MacMohan who is also the owner of World Wrestling Federation, said in his statement, “We are thrilled to partner with ESPN and FOX Sports, two innovative media companies with extensive experience in world-class football production that will undoubtedly help us re-imagine football.”
