Oppo has signed a three-year deal with two major French tournaments. The Chinese tech giant will be the official smartphone partner for Ronald Garros and Rolex Paris Master Tennis Tournament.

French Tennis Federation announced about the deal today. This is the second time Oppo is associating with a European tennis tournament. Earlier they became official smartphone partner for Wimbledon.

Oppo is expanding their presence in European market. The recent deals are part of their strategy. Apart from tennis, they have established ties with International Cricket Council and Spanish football league, LaLiga.

Oppo’s Vice President, Brian Shen commented on the deal saying, “We believe this partnership will serve as a valuable platform to further popularize the premier tennis tournament worldwide and bring the Oppo brand to a broader audience.

According to the terms of the agreement, Oppo and Ronald Garros will collaborate across different areas such as brand awareness, video content production, and young talent development and technology and product experience.

The Find X and Reno, the camera phone of the smartphone sponsor will be used to capture various moments of the two tournaments. The company will be active throughout the tournament to promote its technology and products.

The FFT president, Bernard Guidicelli remarked, “This joint agreement is a great show of confidence from one of the world’s leading smartphone brands. The collaboration, based on the theme of innovation, fits perfectly with the FFT’s international strategy, whose aim is to increase the influence and presence of our tournaments in key markets, such as China.”
