The National Basketball Association for the first time in history will live stream NBA finals to Indian fans on its social media.

All the seven games played between Golden State Warrior and Tornto Raptors have been made available to fans in the country across the NBA’s social media account.

An array of Sony channels such as Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3 and Sony ESPN will broadcast the games with Hindi commentary. All the social media streaming would be presented predominantly in English.

Diane Gotua, the vice president of Global business operations at NBA said, “We are always looking to provide our passionate fans in India with more ways to experience the excitement of our games. Streaming this historic match up on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, along with broadcasting the games across SONY will deliver unprecedented success to the NBA finals.”

The announcement follows an announcement NBA made in December that Mumbai will host two games between the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings in October, as North America’s premier basketball league seeks to break new ground in India.

NBA lately has been concentrating a lot on global expansion. This year will be the first time when the league’s championship series will feature games played in Canada. This season has concluded yesterday and Sony Network featured more than 300 live matches across its network.
