NWSL or National Women’s soccer league and ESPN has reached an agreement to broadcast 14 matches from top-flight US women’s soccer league.

The ESPN deals kicks in on 14th July and runs through to the NWSL Championship on 27th October, with all the match telecasts on broadcaster’s networks also streaming live on the ESPN app.

NWSL President Amanda Duffy said, “NWSL is a global leader in women’s professional soccer, with collectively the most talented players in the world. Together with the reach of ESPN’s vast network, we have the opportunity to bring more games to broader audience across the country and the world. Even in the year leading up to the Women’s World Cup, we have continued to experience tremendous growth through the support, engagement and visibility from our fans.”

Burke Magnus, ESPN’s executive vice president, programming and scheduling added, “The success and excitement of the World Cup in France has been on full display and the women’s soccer league presents the best women’s clubs in the world.”
