Dhing Express, Hima Das is having a gala-time on track. On Saturday, she won her 5th gold medal and clocked a season-best time of 52.09 seconds to win the gold in 400m at the Nove Mesto and Matuji Grand Prix. At the Asian game, Hima gave her all-time best which was 50.79 seconds.
Already being nicknamed as the golden girl, from prime minister, Narendra Modi to Bollywood actor and cricketers, everybody is all-praise for Hima.
In July, she embarked on her golden journey in Poland. She won her first competitive 200m race of the year. Hima, the world junior champion and national race holder in 400m, clocked 23.65 seconds on her way to the 200m gold.
After that she took part in 200m Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland, 200m Kutno Athletics Meet in Czech Republic, Tabor Athletics Meets and the latest Nove Mesto and Metuji Grand Prix. Hima secured gold in every single one them.
