Giving workout session a seamless experience, Nike has released a version of its Nike Training Club App to the apple watch.
The move is taken in order to make workout session a less cumbersome in nature by curtailing ‘every time sneak a peek at your mobile app’ as now, everything will be available at user’s wrist. The new Apple Watch Edition will work along with the existing Nike Training Club App for iOS, rendering a lot many benefits of the iPhone version. Ranging from weight training to endurance and mobility and yoga, users can access to over 180 free workouts instructions, approved and suggested by top notch athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo and Serena Williams.
Erstwhile, there was a common err with the traditional Nike Training App installed at the phone, which was: users have to keep checking their phone based Nike Training app to know how many repetitions they have done and how many to go, which further affect their workout momentum, but now, with the app pre-installed at the users’ wrist, one does not need to make his workout session a complicated one.
Besides, the new version of apple watch features to send signal to start a new drill and when to stop the same. The apple watch also conducts weekly heart rate monitoring, burning calories counting in order to boost up the morale of the users to kick start again their workout session.
The solution came in bringing the Nike Training Club app to the Apple Watch. “The resounding feedback from athletes worldwide was that they wanted us to put the best training app onto Apple Watch, and I think we’ve done it in a way that will make it an intuitive and invaluable training tool,” says Mike McCabe, Nike’s VP of Category Digital Product Innovation.
Globally, the Nike training Club (NTC) is available now on apple watch. The new version of apple watch supports all 180+ workouts currently available on the NTC app.
