The annual program of YMCA, which begins in February is an eight-week wellness program that focuses on physical and mental health. It will include workout tips, nutritional and self-care information, and Zoom workouts with the price mentioned $15 per person.

Participants are encouraged to move to healthy living and increase their physical activity, while tracking their development, to improve their overall health, said Adam Sorum, the YMCA’s healthy living director. Health Trip is intended to “supporting people change habits as we go into the new year,” he said.

YMCA is partnering with Altru Health System to give nutrition sessions to support participants make better dietary choices this year, Sorum said. Participants will track their development virtually on a tracker that indicates their workouts, making better food and drink choices, not smoking, and taking time for themselves.

A prize will be awarded to those who made it half away on the tracker, and a T-shirt is given to those who complete the goal. Sponsoring organizations and businesses, noted on the map, will offer discount codes or digital coupons. After a short time, the program was improved in 2020. Members may register online or by phone and will be invited to form groups.
