Indians are taking to running like ever. Adidas showcases ‘always on the run’ capturing that phenomenon. The film is being shown now across four continents and will be shown alongside films from London, Madrid, Tokyo, Sanghai, Beirut and Los Angles.
Running events are sprouting across the country. Everyday marathon and 10k runs are being organized. New-age Indians are becoming more aware of importance of fitness. To beat various life-style diseases, running is becoming the easiest go-to option to stay healthy. Not just physical wellness, the film recognizes the other aspect of mental and spiritual well being.
Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, the 7 minutes Adidas film captures ever-so-busy spirit of the city. The film tells the story of four layman’s journey of overcoming obstacles. The soundtrack of the film complements the core message beautifully. The background is named ‘chasing my dreams: Anthem of running’.
While launching the film, company’s Brand Marketing Director, Sharad Singla says, “It is a matter of great pride that an Indian running story based in an Indian city will be inspiration to runners all over the world. We as a brand are mere catalysts to give wings to the untapped potential of the country. This work not only brings out the inspiring and collective nature of running enthusiasts but also showcases the high capability of creative talent that our country has.”
