The fitness is really important in everyone’s life. But have we ever wondered about the secrets related to the fitness industry? Unlike every field, women face challenges in the fitness industry as well. Although women need to be more healthy and fit no matter she is a housewife or a career woman. But still, our society points more on women who are more conscious of their health and fitness.
Therefore, there are many things women face in the fitness world. Here’s Anjuri Sinha, a fitness and lifestyle coach who tells about her experience in the fitness industry and the challenges she faced after entering the field.
In a healthy chit chat with Sportz Business Magazine, Anjuri Sinha reveals about some fitness advice and the journey of her life.
Q: What is the importance of fitness in Anjuri’s life?
To me being fit is the utmost priority. I believe one person whom we spend most of our time with is ‘US’ neither the parents nor the spouse nor BFFs.
So, to keep that person alive in the most healthy way, being fit is truly important.
Q: What challenges you face being a fitness coach?
- A few challenges I face would be:
Lack of social life. Because sometimes I have to miss casual get-togethers, late-night parties, etc. to get up early in the morning, to train clients. Weekends could be busier, unlike the normal family and friends because most new clients(who are from working) segment would prefer a call/follow up calls on the weekend only.
- Another one is, Clients who cancel their sessions randomly without a 24hrs notice. Because organizing and schedules are very important for any trainer.
- Last but not least would irregular income for people who are not associated with any gyms, bigger firms like me. So, we don’t get a fixed monthly income.
Q: What is your everyday workout routine?
I keep it simple and start with a warm-up- 10-20 mins of cardio & dynamic stretching.
This is followed by strength or weight training(currently just working with Dumbells & resistance bands at home). Otherwise, I used to work out at the gym with the weight training instruments. Lastly, a god 5-15 mins of stretching session with a bit of yoga to relax the muscles.
Q: What fitness mantra for you suggest for all?
Fitness is the only exam, where results are based purely on your efforts, and cheating here never works. So, never give up and don’t expect the results you didn’t work for!
Q: What is your cheat day food plans?
I am a Dosa person. So, mostly it’s homemade dosa plate with sambhar & coconut chutney. Other than this I sometimes hog on a tub of ice cream, Pancakes or Pizza.
Q: Do you like cooking only dietary food or the best chef at your home?
I’d say I love to experiment with the food items which may not be a part of my diet by making them diet-friendly. So, I love to cook for myself coz that gives me a lot of options to experiment around and still stay true to my Macros.
Q: What is your skincare routine you follow for flawless skin?
CTMP as they say it cleansing, toning, moisturizing (and protection) followed by a broad-spectrum sunscreen during day time. Enough water & a good diet would be a key to good radiant skin. And, the daily active life too. I stay away from gluten, lactose, baked & sugary items.
