As the Hockey Men’s World Cup is coming closer, Grammy Award winner Music Maestro AR Rahman has shared a glimpse of the much-awaited official theme song and Video of the Hockey tournament, which is scheduled to held from November 28th to December 16th in the Odisha’s capital city of Bhubaneswar.
The music Composer and Producer of Bollywood, Rahman has uploaded a teaser video of the official track titled ‘Jai Hind India’ of the Hockey Men’s World cup on twitter. “Presenting the promo for ‘Jai Hind India’ the song for Hockey World Cup 2018 with @iamsrk and wonderful musicians who have collaborated for this track,” Rahman tweeted.
The teaser which also features King of Bollywood, Shahrukh khan has also been contributed by the Industry’s maestro lyricist Gulzar. As soon as the teaser landed on the social media site, Odisha Chief minister Naveen Patnaik thanked the Grammy Award Winner, Rahman, stating the “catchy” teaser captures the excitement and euphoria of Hockey Across the country,

Rahman on November 15 announced that he will be performing live at the opening ceremony of the Hockey Men’s World Cup at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

In the upcoming world cup Indian Hockey Team is playing in the group C alongside, Belgium, Canada and South Africa, and is playing against South Africa on the very first day of the tournament on November 28. It should be noted that a toll of 16 countries are playing in the 14th edition of the event, and this will the third time that India is playing host of the World Cup after having organised it in 1982 and in 2010 in New Delhi.
