EPL giant Arsenal has signed a content partnership with National Agreement Partners. The agreement will be valid till 2021.

The aim of the deal is to generate tourism opportunities in Rwanda. The new content will be produced to highlight the tourism opportunities on offer through the Premier League Club’s official partner, The Rwanda Development Board. The content will be made available through National Geographic’s digital and social travel platforms.

Through this deal, Arsenal continues its ties with this east African country. Rwanda Development Board was signed as the official sleeve sponsor in last May. Visit Rwanda was another initiative that both the parties signed.

The commercial director of the Arsenal club, Peter Silverstone said in his statement, “For over 130 years, National Geographic has been inspiring millions of people all over the world through groundbreaking storytelling from the best and brightest scientists, explorers and photographers. The new partnership will provide the perfect platform to share Rwanda’s story, and the incredible experiences the country offers.”

Belise Kariza, the Chief Tourism officer of Rwanda commented on the deal, “Rwanda is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and we are excited about sharing our story and rich natural heritage with the global National Geographic community. The Visit Rwanda partnership with Arsenal and creation of this new platform will inspire more travelers and adventurers to look to Rwanda as their top travel destination.”
