ASICS India, a sports performance brand made their debut into one of the most ancient sports in the world, wrestling. Accomplished wrestler Bajrang Punia is associating with the brand as they make their way into the sport.
Globally, ASICS is a well-received name among wrestlers. This is the same brand that also sponsors US wrestling doyen, Jordan Burroughs who is a 4 times world champion. He has a wrestling after his name which is quite popular among wrestlers worldwide.
Speaking on the brand association, Rajat Khurrana, Managing director of the sports brand said, “We are extremely delighted to bring on board India’s most promising wrestlers, Bajrang Punia as an ASICS athlete. Wrestling has always been a focus for the brand globally and this association is an extension of the brand’s ‘I love me’ campaign.
