Spanish soccer major club FC Barcelona may bring alter in their official attire.
It is purported that the club is going through a process of changing the design of their team Jersey-checks replacing the stripes. Without changing the kit supplier or sponsors, this time the club Barcelona is bringing change in their iconic striped uniform to fresh check ones designs.
According to Spanish media reports, the latest and upcoming Barcelona jersey design will lose the red and blue stripes in favour of a checked design.
An image replicating the forthcoming design of the new Barcelona jersey is circulating on the Social Media. Exhibiting club prime sponsors Rakuten and Beko at front and at sleeves respectively, the Nike jersey of the club has front topped with blue sleeve and collar.
It is reported that that production of the newly introduced jersey will begin shortly with the approval of club’s executive board.
There are news circulating that the hardcore fans are not finding it any good for the team and they are kind of upset however, this is not the first time that the club has altered their striped design.
Their centenary shirt for the 1998-99 campaign saw the club opt for a half-and-half design, which was repeated again during Pep Guardiola’s first season in charge ten years later. For the 2015-16 campaign, Barca flips the stripes to horizontal hoops.
