English Premier League club, Everton announced a multi-year extension of their kit sponsorship partnership with British sportswear brand Umbro.
As a part of the deal, Umbro will continue to provide kit and training uniform for the Premier league club men’s Women’s and Academy teams along with merchandise for fans.The new partnership is going to start with the next season. The length and the financial terms of the deal is yet to be announced.
It should be noted the partnership of the Everton and Umbro dates back to the 1970. Within the course of period, Umbro has produced many classic designs for the English football club.
The commercial director of Everton, Alan McTavish said: “Umbro has a strong football heritage and we are confident that they will continue to provide our teams with bespoke kit designs and great-looking, technically advanced training wear.”
Sam Lucas, Head of Sports Sponsorship at Umbro UK, added: “We’re delighted to extend our technical partnership with Everton. We have a proud history working together and it’s great that we can continue that relationship with such an ambitious club. We’re really looking forward to delivering more memorable kits for the fans.”
The extended partnership begins at the start of the 2019-20 season, with the Club’s new kits to be unveiled in the close season.
