The International Regulatory body of world football, FIFA will offer a Six-month executive sports management programme in association with the International Centre for Sports Studies.  The progammmes are devoted to the working professionals in Navi Mumbai.

“The recent growth in sports industry in India has provided immense opportunities to both players and non-playing professionals to make a career. Our partnership with FIFA/CIES has come at a crucial time where our country is all set to see a stupendous growth in sports industry,” Padmakshan Padmanabhan, Director (Sports) at Mahatma Education Society, told reporters.

Founded in 2004, the FIFA/CIES International University Network has presence in 15 countries including Spain, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa and India will be the 16th.

Starting in September this year with its first batch, the sports management programmes will focus on the key objectives of improving sports skills set of several sports manager deputed at several level of federation, clubs, government and municipal entities, and other small sports institutions.

In order to deliver the programmes an international level of perfection, professors from across the sports industry are invited to coach students.
