Getty Images will continue to be the authorized photography agency of Fifa throughout the Qatar World Cup 2022.

The agency has been granted access to the exclusive content of Fifa tournaments since 2009. For upcoming Fifa Women’s World Cup in France, they will also produce exclusive content.

The shooting team of the women’s world cup will be consisting of six official photographers from Getty Images. They will be in charge of behind the scene footage, official portraits of each player and venue imagery. Fifa will hold the rights of all the contents and the agency will have a license to access it.

Five photographers will be assigned to cover the Women’s World Cup.

The global head of content at Getty Images, Ken Mainardis said, “We strive to be a valuable and creative component of the team to deliver premium content that shows how unique the world’s most popular sports is.”
