Anytime Fitness, located at 105 Wildwood Dr, Georgetown, won an award for best training club out of all 2,500 Anytime Fitness locations in the United States and Canada during a Nov. 6 conference in Dallas.
The entire 10-person personal training team from Georgetown came out on top after demonstrating exceptional service throughout the pandemic.
Throughout the last year, the personal trainers hosted multiple events such as buddy battles, a gym Olympics and Anytime field days. During the pandemic, the staff connected with clients through virtual coaching and the Anytime Fitness app, according to the release.
Additionally, club manager Shaun Valdez won Club Manager of the Year at the conference. Close to 20 letters of recommendation were sent to Anytime Fitness Corporate to promote Shaun for the award, according to the release.
To celebrate these awards, Georgetown Anytime Fitness is allowing all new members to work out for free for the rest of the year.
