Yoga is notably useful for everyone’s body and mind. That is because most yoga asanas can stimulate particular parts of the body and also improve stretch and make it more flexible while clearing tension that leads to getting expanded in the lack of any physical exercises.

One such yoga asana was recently performed by actor Rakul Preet Singh that was shared by yoga fitness trainer Anshuka Parwani.

Here’s the variation of the Cat Tail Pose known as the Cat Pulling Tail Pose:

Considered to balance the stamina in the body and give it operate efficiently, the Cat Pulling Tail Pose develops the hamstrings, hips, and quads.

In this yoga asana, Rakul Preet Singh can be viewed holding one of her legs, with the knee bent, with her hand with the other leg stretched at the hip level. This is why it is called the ‘cat pulling its tail pose’.

Benefits of the yoga asana

While sharing the picture, Anushka stated, “Cat Tail Pose is one of her favorite Yin Yoga poses. It’s great for reducing tension around the lumbar region, quadriceps, glutes, obliques, and flexors and improves the body’s capacity to surrender.”

This yoga asana also helps in decreasing tension and operates as a counterpose after a backbend or front bend.
