India’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp, announced on Monday that Colombian footballer Yerry Mina signed up to be the brand ambassador of the company.

Mina’s joining of Hero MotoCorp comes at a significant time when the company is preparing to launch a series of new, technologically advanced and stylish two-wheelers in Colombia, including new premium motorcycles and higher-powered scooters, the company said in a statement.

Rajat Bhargava, the head of strategy, performance transformation and Global business said, “Colombia is one of our key global markets and we are confident that Yerry Mina will add a lot of value to our branding building initiatives there.”

Hero MotoCorp is constantly trying to portray itself as a global youth can identify themselves with.  The aim of the endeavor is to amply the presence of the company in the global market.

The 24 years old footballer has delivered an impressive performance for Columbian National team during 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He commented, “I have always been quite impressed with the extensive support that Hero MotoCorp extends to multiple disciplines of sports across the world. I am glad to be a part of large and diverse Hero family.”
