Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India’s (HMSI) motorsport division, Honda Racing India has introduced the Moto3 grade NSF250R motorcycle. It has been the most successful racing machine that also participates in the Moto3 championship.
Minoru Kato, the president and CEO said, “With our constant endeavors to expand the sport in stepwise manner in the past decade, Honda is now synonymous with motorsport in India. In 2018, we were the first to create solo Indian teak at the International Asia Road Racing Championship.”
At the occasion of the launch also detailed their strategy for the 2019 season as it looks to participate in the Pro Stock 200-300 cc class of the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship with six riders powering in the Idemtisu Honda Ten10 Racing team.
Honda Racing India will also conduct its talent hunt in 5 cities this year to identify next-generation riders in the age bracket of 13-17 years.
Prabhu Nagraj, the vice president of Brand and Communication at HMSI said, “As next step, Honda is bringing the Moto3 machine NSF250R which accelerate the development of future stars of racing and expand the motorsport culture in India.”
Now talking about the new Honda NSF250R, it is Honda’s most successful machine which also participates in the Moto3 championship. The Honda NSF250R is a four-stroke race motorcycle from HRC developed in 2011 to replace the two-stroke Honda RS125R. Honda’s NSF250R joined the Moto3 World Championship in 2012.
