Indian men’s Hockey team captain, Manpreet Singh has signed a deal with the international sports giant company Adidas just days ahead of Men’s hockey world cup to be played in Bhubaneswar from November 28th to December 16th.
The move thus subsequently made Manpreet to join the group of other Indian players associated with the brand including Hima Das, Swapna Burman, Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Dipika Pallikal, Zeel Desai, Nikhat Zareen, Siddhanth Banthia, and Manjot Kalra to name a few.
Manpreet was a part of Indian hockey team that participated at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics games, 2017 FIH Champions Trophy as well as 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Earlier this year, Manpreet was conferred with the Arjuna Award for leading the Indian national hockey team to the World League final in 2017 and for contributing Indian side Success at the Asia Cup.
