Now there is some good news for the Jio Tv subscribers. In a recent development news coming this week, Star India and Reliance industries initiated ‘Jio TV’ have gone for a five-year content syndication deal for all cricket matches featuring Indian team.
According to the deal whose actual sum was not revealed, Jio Tv users can now access to all Indian-cricket matches live on their devices.
With the new decision JioTV users don’t have to pay extra bucks to watch live cricket match on Hotstar as now users have to click on the Hotstar link inside the JioTV app that directs them to Hotstar. And subsequently, live cricket match cab be accessed as a separate feed inside the JioTV app.
“Jio continues to bring the most exclusive content to its users, this time around through the JioTV app. With this partnership, we intend to provide the best sporting content with the best digital infrastructure to the Jio users,” Akash Ambani, director, Jio, said.
The deal will features all forms of matches including ODIs, T20, Test Matches, and premiere domestic leagues played under the cap of Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI).
At the present time, Hotstar runs three kinds of subscriptions options, depending on their preference of watching sports. Users can go for a monthly rupees 199 or opt for an annual subscription worth rupees at rupees 999. The platform also lets users to pick up annual all sports package at rupees 299.
