In the Sports ecosystem of JK, a new feather has been added today. From now on, the footballers of the area can practice long after sunset, thanks to the newly installed floodlight at the TRC turf ground.
The sports facility in the conflict-ridden JK is ill-equipped. Earlier, matches can rarely be conducted at night. The floodlight set up at TRC Ground is said to be of high quality. All the matches can be live telecasted courtesy to the high-definition floodlights.
The Commission Secretary of JK Youth Sports and Services, Sarmad Hafeez said, “This is a historical step and this is the first stadium in the state of JK where the floodlights have been installed. Therefore now we will be able to play under floodlights and not just nation games but games of international standards.”
“It is government’s goal that we increase the sporting infrastructure and provide people with such an infrastructure where youth can participate in all different games.” He added.
