The second annual NBA Global Championship, a youth oriented basketball tournament for the top 13 and 14 year old boys and girl’s teams from the world, will be held from August 6 to 11 in 2019 at the Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida.

On Wednesday, The NBA announced the details of the event and said a toll of 32 teams will take part in a week-long event of on-court competition and off court programming centered on the Jr NBA’s core values of Teamwork, Respect, Determination and Community at the ESPN Wide World of sports complex.

IN the wake of increasing the pool of participating boy and girls team, the NBA is going to launch a new trait of local competitions in the US including more than 20 local tournaments.

From India, a pool of 10 boys and 10 girls from the Reliance Foundation jr NBA Selection camp will be chosen to represent the country at the Jr NBA Global Championship.

The International competition off junior basketball players will try to leverage Junior NBA’s global presence.
