LaLiga North America officially announced to launch LaLiga academy in joint venture with Relevant Sports in the US. The football academy is launched by the Spanish top men’s football division, LaLiga, which will be the its first academy in North America.

The LaLiga academy will feature programs for both boys and girls aged from 4 to 9.

The Headquarters of the LaLiga in South Florida will be based at SDG Soccer Complex in North Miami Beach. Best practices from LaLiga clubs will be used in the coaching methodology. The academy will also have a development program for coaches and scouting component.

‘LaLiga’s focus on North America is to grow soccer through different activities, and grassroots development is a key component”, remarked Boris Gartner, the chief executive of North America.

“As soccer continues to grow, we want to play a key role in more kids playing and more coaches training soccer”, he adds.
