Another week, another fitness challenge by Bollywood’s gorgeous actress Malaika Arora and her fans are ready to burn all that unwanted body fat this festive season. Teaching about a Yoga pose for tighter, healthier, and sculpted abs, Malaika inspired fans to stretch and sweat with Parivrtta Parsvakonasana.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Malaika gave the nitty-gritty of the yoga asana. Wearing a royal blue sports bra matched with a pair of the same colored Yoga pants, Malaika was observed performing the exercise herself.Pulling back her silky hair in a high braid hairstyle so that it does not mess with her workout session, Malaika wrote in the caption, “Hello Everyone! Time to stretch, sweat, and bring on the new week with a bright smile :).”

She added, “#MalaikasMoveOfTheWeek is Parivrtta Parsvakonasana. It is an outstanding yoga pose for tighter, stronger, and sculpted abs.”

Method:

Begin with a downward-facing dog pose of Yoga with feet grounded and palms set firmly on the ground. Breathe in and bring your right foot forward between both your palms.

Keep the back of your left leg straight and folding in your toe in a while, lifting the foot. Breathe out, push your pelvic down, and take your right thigh parallel to the floor.

Breathe in, lift your right hand with fingers facing towards the ceiling. Make sure that both your shoulders are aligned. Look up towards your outstretched fingers and press onto the pose for 10 to 15 seconds before releasing the posture.
