The intuitive 16-inch capacitive touchscreen makes it easy for members to define physical transformation targets, receive step-by-step instructions and identify their benchmark weight that will help them reach their goals.
Sprint 8 GX Demonstrations
Trade show attendees can experience Sprint 8 GX firsthand during Early Morning Workout on Wednesday, March 22. Sprint 8 GX is an instructor-led, group experience that uses the established and proven Sprint 8 workout pre-programmed on Matrix cardio consoles. Combined with a unique strength and conditioning component, Sprint 8 GX helps facilities retain and engage members while setting themselves apart. Demo session are at 7:00am and 7:45am in the Matrix booth (2509).
Educational Events
Matrix continues to support the industry and attendees with learning opportunities focused on behavioral change and increasing the awareness of the positive relationship between mental health and exercise, an initiative that was kicked off by Matrix in May 2022.
Building Mental Health Resilience in the Health Club Environment
Dr. Karlie Intlekofer, Global Research Scientist for Matrix and Rick Muhr, Matrix Ambassador and Marathon Coach will share how regular exercise improves brain chemistry and how gyms can build mental resilience within their community. The educational session will take place on Monday, March 20th at 1:45pm in room 1B of the San Diego Convention Center.
Master the Chemistry of Change
Presented by Matrix, Cassandra Worthy, founder and CEO of Change Enthusiasm® Global, will empower attendees to assess their change emotions and redirect their anxiety and fears into moments of opportunity. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd at 9:00 AM in the Marriott Marquis Grand Ballroom. A live stream of the keynote will be available on the IHRSA 2023 website.
Mental Health Fireside Chat
Dr. Karlie Intlekofer will join Derek Gallop, Kevin McHugh and Lynne Brick for this Fireside Chat focusing on mental health. Panelist will share their expertise helping attendees better understand their role as fitness professionals in the mental health of their clients, staff and members. The session commences on Wednesday, March 22 at 3:00 PM in room 5B of the San Diego Convention Center. A live stream of the session will be available on the IHRSA 2023 website.
