Many smartphone brands often come up with their own version of fitness and wellness apps. People can avail them on Google store. But if you are a Chinese smartphone user, things will be difficult, because Google and its affiliated services are still banned in China. For the convenience of Chinese smartphone users, Xiaomi has introduced Mi Health. An in-house fitness and wellness app developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company.
Although Xiaomi already has another fitness app called ‘Mi Fit’, on Google play. The brand has made another fitness-oriented app. Mi Health is currently only available in the latest MIUI China Developer 9.7.23 beta build. WE were able to extract the APK (Package name com.mi.health), but can’t be installed as a regular user app on non-Xiaomi devices. If you are running MIUI, you can install it as a system app, but XDA Member kacskrz saved us the trouble by getting screenshots of app from the latest MIUI beta build.
MI health’s features are like any other health app. The app monitors your step count. More advanced functionality included sleep time and duration tracking. It can apparently track sleep in the background too. MI Health can track duration of menstruation cycle also. People can set up exercise goals through the app and it will give based on the tracked physical activities. It can also recommend you areas where you need to work on.
