The American auto-insurance company, GEICO has announced a multiyear partnership with NASCAR. Under the agreement, GEICO will have the with exclusive status and promotional rights in the insurance category.

The partnership extends GEICO’s involvement in NASCAR. GEICO already has ties with the team of Germaine Racing. GEICO is the latest brand to sign a deal with the auto racing company. The company will be present throughout the season at all key racing. They will be also joining NASCAR Fuel for business council.

John Truck, the vice president and chief revenue officer of the auto-racing company said, “Building on the collaboration taking place across the industry, we continue to pursue opportunities that will further integrate brands throughout sports. Our partnership with GEICO deepens their presence in the sports and provided them even more opportunities to engage our local brand loyal fans to maximize their marketing objectives.”

GEICO is America’s second largest auto-insurance company and a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies.
