Polish Sportswear Company, 4F is all set to test the water in Indian market. Initially, they will try to gauge the market through online selling. Business Standard reported yesterday, 4F will probably approach national sports clubs first. After that, they will aim for consorting with Olympic Committee.
This Polish company is headquartered in Krakow and associated with many internationally renowned sportsperson. They have Lukasz Kubot, a Polish Tennis player, Czech sprinter Patrik Storm, Alpine Skier, Karlina Garmatniece and Dumble Olympian Luger Ulla Zirne as their brand ambassadors. Besides having a retail driven market in Poland, they also enjoy a significance presence in Austria, too.
Igor Klaja, the owner of 4F has told Business Standard, “For the initial foray, we will first focus on online sales and see how the market responds. First, we need to understand the market and consumer behavior here. Thereafter, we may opt for a brick-and-mortal model as well.”
For their Indian stint, they are teaming up with Ace Turtle, an omni-channel platform. They are responsible for operation, distribution, marketing and sales of this brand.
4F is expanding rapidly in Asian market. This year alone, they entered Japan, Taiwan and Thailand. They are also planning to enter 10 other countries including UAE and Russia.
4F registered a 25% growth rate in the past few years. It is also hoping new development in India will translate to 25% growth after 2020.
