The king of Sneaker, Reebok has launched the 3D OP as in their classic collection.
Reebok redefined sneaker by launching the 3D Opus silhouette some 20 years ago and now in 2018, the shoe major has unveiled the 3D OP FRACTIONAL and the 3D OP.LITE featuring its classic collection. Stylish and extremely comfortable, these sneakers are lightweight and strong, too. There’s no better way to make a statement than with this multi-purpose pair that combines technology and style to give you an irresistible pair of shoes.
The inspiration
The 3D OP.LITE has been inspired by a very unique concept – the fact that the creative process is chaotic but it’s about finding yourself in the chaos; it’s about taking that chaos, push forward, evolving and giving birth to a beautiful idea. These technology-forward shoes live up to this inspiration in form and design.
Given that it’s an upgrade of the 3D Opus, these sneakers bring that brand’s classic attitude alive in each pair. The shoes give you an elevated aesthetic balance because of its futuristic bootie construction, along with bold overlays that make this pair unmissable. This is a memorable pair of shoes from Reebok, and rightly so, it has a memorable launch in Mumbai.
The launch
Reebok launched the 3D OP at Superkicks, Mumbai’s first multi-brand sneaker store. The outdoor section of the store promoted Reebok’s message on scroll down flags; further away, there was an ‘evolve through the chaos’- inspired installation that was perfect for photo-ops and selfies. The store itself was a beautiful exhibit of evolving through chaos in its installations and window displays. The wall installation reflected this thought, too, and made for quite a launch, given that these shoes were inspired by this thought.
Besides this, there was an art exhibit curated by visual artist, Hanisha Tirumalasetty, a digital art workshop by Sumit Roy and a rap and DJ workshop by DJ Madoc, too.
