The Master Blaster of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar has sign off from his association with Spartan Sports, as an investor and advisory board member.
The move has been taken by Tendulkar following company’s defaulted on payments running into crores.
Sydney based Spartan Sports was co-founded by Indian entrepreneur Kunal Sharma and has signed 45-year old Sachin in 2016.
In addition to Sachin, the company has also aligned other leading names from the sports including India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Big hit West-indies opener Chris Gayle and Eoin Morgan among other.
According to an Australian court’s order, the sports gear and equipment manufacturer was directed to be liquidated which subsequently could affect the players in line with Spartan Sports.
Sources said that some cricketers incurred financial losses and now Spartans Sports owes creditors around ₹60 crore.
