Six5Six, a Gurgaon-based sportswear brand is going to be an official kit sponsor of the Indian Football team replacing a more than a-decade-old-sponsorship deal with Nike.
The deal of sponsoring official kit of the Indian football team will come in to effect from 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
As the Nike’s contract deal with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) as kit sponsor expired earlier this year, the association scooped in this Indian land sportswear brand under its cap. Notably, AIFF has been associated with the America giant sports brand for more than a decade starting in 2006.

Six5Six and the AIFF have signed for a five-year sponsorship deal, which was facilitated by IMG-Reliance-Owned Football Sports Development ltd (FSDL), the commercial partner of AIFF.
As per the deal regulates, AIFF will now unveil all new jersey for the Indian football squad and Six5Six will provide apparel, footwear and Equipment to national football teams which include senior men’s and women’s teams and ag-specific teams.
It is reported in the English business newspaper Six5Six will pay a sum of rupees 1.5-2 crore for the sponsorship annually in contrast to the fact that the Nike only used to supply kits to the team devoid paying anything.
