Snap Fitness, the fitness concept centered around its ‘for the feeling’ mantra–focused on how exercise makes you feel versus how you look–announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with entrepreneurs Demi and Mark Morgan to bring a new location to the Lake Havasu City, AZ area. The two have plans for possible expansion with additional locations after the Lake Havasu City gym opens.
“We’re thrilled to bring a gym concept with a positive and uplifting culture like Snap Fitness to Lake Havasu City, and make a positive impact on the local community with a fresh outlook on health and wellness,” said Demi Morgan. “Snap Fitness definitely impacted my life in a positive way when I was a member of one of their gyms, and I can’t wait to have that same effect on others.”
The Morgans bring a wealth of business knowledge and experience to Snap Fitness. Prior to franchising with the brand, Demi was a longtime member at the Snap Fitness location in her hometown. She also has extensive experience managing, promoting and running a successful local jet ski performance retail and service shop, where she coordinates logistics for shipping, is the main customer service contact and manages all the marketing and promotional aspects of the business. Mark is the Operations Manager of Alaska State Paving with HC Contractors, Inc., where he manages large-scale, seasonal, industrial construction operations. Demi will act as the primary operator for the Lake Havasu City location.
“It’s a great story having one of our former members who truly believes in what we do at Snap Fitness join us as a new franchisee and bring our reimagined approach to fitness to Lake Havasu City,” said Ty Menzies, Global CEO of Lift Brands, the parent brand of Snap Fitness. “Demi has a passion for fitness and improving the lives of others, making her a perfect fit to grow Snap Fitness, and I’m excited to see what fresh energy she brings to the local community.”
Snap Fitness is continuing to grow through strategic multi-unit franchise deals with qualified operators within select regions throughout the U.S. The brand’s focus for expansion is in metro, suburban and rural markets, as it introduces its new gym prototype design, nearly doubling the size of the original space, to the 6,000- 8,000 square foot range.
Globally, Snap Fitness has locations in more than 20 countries, with over 640 units in the United States and Canada, 85 units in the United Kingdom, and 300 units in Asia Pacific. The brand takes pride in helping members feel good about themselves after a workout, creating an inclusive, empathetic and supportive approach to fitness.
With an established team of six franchise business coaches ready to discuss best practices for successfully running a Snap Fitness, the brand is awarding franchise opportunities to both single and multi-unit franchisees. Ideal candidates have proven business experience and possess an entrepreneurial spirit, while maintaining established community ties and having passion for the fitness and wellness industries.
