Sportradar has signed a multiyear partnership deal with NASCAR to offer integrity services. The deal has been sealed to monitor global betting in the motorsports in which the Sports data supplier will offer Fraud Detection System and Education and Prevention Services.
The Driver, teams and officials associated to the NASCAR will take part in on-site workshops, while Sportradar will also facilitate the sport with a “full-Fledged betting integrity program”.
The NASCAR President Steve Phelps in October said the Motorsport series was ready to implement guidelines on sports betting in 2019.
Sportradar Director, Global Strategy of Integrity Services Andy Cunningham said: “We are honored and excited to partner with NASCAR in what is an important time for US sports following the Supreme Court sports betting decision earlier this year.”
NASCAR VP of Global Media Strategy and Distribution Brian Herbst said: “It is critical to be proactive in developing safeguards that protect NASCAR’s on-track product from any potential integrity threats.”
In November, another integrity development within the US saw executives from MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment found the Sports Wagering Integrity Monitoring Association.
