BLK BOX, A Belfast based sports equipment manufacturer has extended its Titanic Quarter head-quarter by investing whooping sum of £250,000.
The Gym and Sports Equipment Company which has delivered strength and conditioning equipment for several gym companies, sports clubs and others, is now extending its Channel Commercial Park’s facility by 17,000 square foot.
With the move, the company can augment its manufacturing capability and allow them to hold more stock and reduce it lead times.
Gregory Bradley, the managing director of BLK BOX, said the investment is their part o strategic plan.
“We are embarking on an ambitious growth plan at the moment by looking at adding to our activity in markets in the UK and Ireland, as well as increasing our international footprint,” he said. “We had outgrown our space in our original headquarters and we knew that we needed to do things differently to continue to sustainably tap into this sector.
“By expanding in Channel Commercial Park we get to continue to base ourselves in a fantastic location with easy access to the airports, while also increasing the amount of stock we can hold and manufacture.”
He said the business had tripled its headcount in the last year from 12 to over 30 and was keen to continue growing. “We are keen to keep progressing and making the most of new opportunities.”

“Our high quality commercial units have provided them with the additional space they need in a location that they know works well strategically for them to reach UK, Ireland and international markets quickly and easily.”
